First of all I  want to thank each and everyone of you that sent coins for Brinlee!!!  Such an awesome family and awesome cause.  Thank you!  I am so blessed to be a part of a community that pulls together when there is a need.

Box top competition ends tomorrow so bring all of those box tops!

Tomorrow is a Bouncy House kind of day during enhancements so please make sure your beautiful kiddo has on socks so they can play!

Christmas party plans are well under way.  If you would like to help please call Lana Yarbrough.  I sent a letter home today with her contact information.  Christmas party will be next Friday at 9:00.  I hope to see you there.

Please don’t forget early release next Thursday and Friday at 11:00.

And now for our classroom:

We will have a spelling test Tuesday over these words; which, their, said, if, do, will, each, about, how, up.  Please work with your kiddos on knowing the words, writing the words, and using them in a sentence.  We are learning about nouns this week in phonics.

Math:  We are working on addition, subtraction, shapes, and word problems.  We will have our Math Benchmark on Monday.  Please work on these concepts with your kids.

Writing:  We are working on what makes a good story.  Really focusing on beginning, middle, and end.

I just want to say that I am so happy with the progress that our kiddos are making!  I love your babies as if they were my own!  We are having a great year!!!
